A quick vacation review
Friday i hesitated to believe i could have computer time and time to get some household tidying done. On Thursday Noelle had me tap into the feeling i had when i had happily realized that we can resolve the trauma of the past few months. We started calling it the "i can" feeling, and i could sense the difference between the agitated, elevated anxiety energy and the easier flow of "i can." And i did.

Saw two deer just wandering through campus. The show was "Reimagining American Realism: works by Charles Griffin Farr." Met artist Raymond Saunders and was gifted with a t-shirt (he was wrapping up a life drawing talk and was at the effusive end of his time). This gallery doesn't get many people of First Fridays! [Posting, but need to finish. Will i ever?] 5 Left after a visit with the koi in a memorial pond, friendly folks 5:59 leaving museum - paper! Typewriter! - trader joes 7 pm reservation at the crow's nest, just at the tangerine sunset. We sat on the well heated patio, where many young women could wear their spaghetti strap fashions in comfort. Good waitress who was willing to bring us the score of the Giants playoff game, but who wisely didn't as the Padres scored 4 Giants nothing, while we ate. Pumpernickle roll and sweet whipped butter, artichoke stuffed with bay shrimp, pacifico, salad, coors NA, white sea bass over grilled polenta with asparagus in a citrus sauce. Left just at 9, on schedule, to stand on the beach a bit in the dark. Hotel Pure is an older revamped building, clean and comfortable, with a litter hard use showing on the edges. Fell asleep quickly, woke at 3 am. Tried usual. Decided too warm. Dressed & sat on deck. Stakeout guy? Drunk guys. Felt the "hunger" wheat reaction. Read computer science article.
