Ah, good to have it confirmed that it is ripe here! I've decided to celebrate Hláfmæst at the upcoming full moon, having let the first creep up on me. A fellow heathen living in NC grows a small wheat patch to determine the proper time as well as to use as an offering, but it failed in last year's drought and didn't do well this year. Here I suspect this morning's "sea-fret" was both a sign of disturbed climate and a prompt that fall is over the horizon even here.
