I'm fine but the family dynamics around my grandfather are dreadful. After i cooled down (and realized how much of my angst was work triggered) i was very thankful to be a continent away.

He's 95 and is holding on fiercely, perhaps due to how much he adores his second wife. His choices and values are rather different from mine, but i can find it in myself to respect him.
