It's almost eight o clock, and i feel i've hardly skimmed the bits of email and news in the past hour and a half. No comments, no journalling myself. (I have corresponded, posted a creek blog entry: priorities, what are they?) My not writing is not just an attempt to not write when i don't have a post, but i am recovering from a down-cycle: confluence of Christine's absence, some work frustrations and procrastination around a major deadline, and the anticipation of addressing my health through diet. At the end of that down cycle was a week of intensity as i made up for the procrastination.

I don't think i'm down in the same way i was, but i am trying to get my balance again.

I am looking forward to the long weekend! I do hope to make more dyes (the red and brown!) and then the ...

IM from a colleague about not getting into a phone call -- i should have been on the call too -- but it's been canceled. Brain is now at work.
