I am very thankful Christine is OK. She was in a collision with a large buck yesterday just after 2pm, just moments different would have led to far more damage to her than the little cut. The driver's side of the car, from the headlight, including the hood, to the full driver's door is crumpled.

The buck died quickly. A consolation is that the carcass was picked up to feed the big cats at http://carolinatigerrescue.org/ .

Oh dear! I'm glad she's ok, too!

Wow, glad she's okay, and sorry to hear this happened. Best wishes for her recovery and coping with the damaged car, etc.

Oh, that's scary and distressing. Also possibly expensive. Wishing you both the best.

I am sorry to read this. It's amazing how much damage can be done by a deer / car collision.

Any collision is traumatic but to have a creature die from it too must be hard on Christine, and thus hard on you also. I wish her well as she recovers physically and psychologically.
