Well, I think it's about 90% dead from poisoning last fall -- i chopped down the trunk, exposed swathes of active ... whatever the cells are that carry water and nutrients, and applied high concentration glyphosphate. I'm expecting glyphosphate to be in my life for a good long while. I can't help but suspect that tree of heaven and mimosa will be nothing compared to the horror that is Autumn Olive (Elaeagnus umbellata) here. Not only do i have countless plants but the neighboring property is a vast thicket of Autumn Olive with swathes of vinca and shaded meadows of stilt grass.
