This blog post is a book review of Etrog: How A Chinese Fruit Became a Jewish Symbol. It made me think of amaebi's Hebrew studies and that she may appreciate the chapter wrestling over the the meaning of the Hebrew phrase peri ‘eṣ hadar (cut & pasted from the review - maybe the unicode worked).

I enjoyed the blog post, and would read the book if my reading list were a little shorter....
