I have never been good in hot and humid weather, but the menopause changes do stick around (it will be 6 years since my last period next month.) I don't get true hot flashes much anymore, but I do run hotter than I used to, and it seems to be permanent. Waking up with a cat stretched out next to me is enough for me to throw off all blankets and crank up the ceiling fan for a while. But I get the pessimism about doctors taking such symptoms seriously. Monitoring the details as the weather cools down sounds like a good idea. It has seemed to me to be particularly humid even if not such a hot summer.
BP will go up and down during the day, and it seems to be kind of random in terms of how I feel stress-wise, although physical activity will get your diastolic up. Or the systolic, can't remember. General trends are the important thing, I think.
I have more ripe bananas in the freezer and am going to make another banana bread later.
