"Over-provisioned" is one I had not heard before, but working for a v. small company, I think a few are in that position. I'm not sure that I have critical knowledge that no one else has, but I probably have more combined knowledge, being one of the old-timers.
Drone: awesome, but having to cut down a tree to rescue it? Yikes. When lightning struck my chimney, the insurance agent sent a drone over my roof to take photos, but I haven't seen one up close in action otherwise.
Bidet: not sure what your mom's needs are, but I have a Toto Washlet that is one of my favorite things ever. I think there are numerous models at different price points, but they mostly do the same things. I did have a plumber install it when I was having the bathroom work done, but it does not look difficult.(During colonoscopy prep I was very grateful for it.)
I am not going to torment myself with new hostas this year, but when it warms up a bit more, the focus will be on transplanting sections of moss to the more bare bits of the house perimeter that got dug up during the drainage-runoff work I had done last year. Oddly, you can make a sort of moss milkshake to spread it around by painting it on rocks etc., but I think I will just lift some sections from other parts of the property and stick them down where I want them to grow, and hope they propagate themselves.
