The walking onions I got from https://www.southernexposure.com/products/egyptian-walking-onion-tree-onion/ the first fall we were here -- 2016 -- and i continue to propagate them, so that's a tribute to their ease. They put up "flower" stalks but instead of blooming they make tiny (and not so tiny) little onion bulbs -- this site has good photos: https://www.egyptianwalkingonion.com/
