The article found statins and ACE inhibitors were making a difference because they "help protect against endothelial cell damage." The endothelial cells are apparently found everywhere so it's not clear the more mechanical opening would make a big difference. ... and with that i sound way more understanding than i am. I really should say. No clue, but would be nice!
