Evernote had had my loyalty for ages but they have broken a number of features i found very valuable. One of which was the speed of handling data stored on my own device. It's now cloud first. And they haven't replaced their capability to encrypt text. At least they still allow decrypting. I've old versions of the app i will fight to not upgrade as i slowly migrate away.
