I agree. Bearing witness is important. I was on a call with a group discussing the ICE raids in Denver. I wrote about it on Mastodon, and there were waves of people boosting what I said, sending me angry face emojis because they were angry about what was happening. There were a few people who wanted confirmation on what I was saying was true. I was able to find references to some of it in news stories, but basically I was live tweeting what a school board member was saying.
