I read the omnibus edition of the Paksenarrion books this weekend... sort of. Because when I got to towards the end of the third book (page 1008 iirc), the book just stopped (in the middle of a battle scene, too!). It didn't look like there were any pages/signatures missing at the end when I looked at the binding, so, I dunno what happened, but maybe check yours when it arrives?
