More rain
Is it some bizarre gravitational pull associated with the solstice and approaching new year that triggers some sort of desire for Organization and Process? Somehow i stumbled upon an application that manages to-do's that need to be done regularly, but with a sort of fuzziness about them (http://sciral.com/consistency/). I played with the demo for a few moments and then had a sense of deja vu. Indeed, i used to have an excel spreadsheet. I looked at the massive stack Things To Do left over from 2008 or so.
Now i'm experimenting with Yojimbo, an information organizer, partly because i've lost too many encrypted notes in the mac standard application, Keychain. I'm organizing my bookmarks, thinking about all the computer and data health things i should do regularly, but currently do sporadically (like download my pay stubs).
Theres some twinkling of overwhelm in this, but also an unfamiliar "can do" sense.

Yesterday late afternoon, i called up a retired colleague L-J to see if she wanted to meet for coffee on Friday afternoon. It was pleasant to see her, and i had a bit of nostalgia for the years when she, MDS, and i would go for coffee of Friday afternoons.
This morning Christine and i went to Michael's at Shoreline for breakfast, instead of driving up to the Flower Mart in the city. After our brunch, we went to a nursery and purchased some greenery and cyclamens for holiday cheer. I've switched to a ret tablecloth with checkered lace and will eventually get the sideboard decorated in a manner that will easily be wintry in January and add red hearts for Valentines day.
But white lights soon.
