Nephew's health continues to require medical care, but they still believe it is a short term reaction and not a longer term issue. Meanwhile, their house was broken into, TV stolen, etc, etc. Dog was OK: locked in a bedroom.

In Creative News, i've knit a swatch using a knook and i love it. A Knook is a hacked crochet hook that allows attaching a cord to keep knitting stitches "on". I do NOT like perling. I'm pondering if i could not turn the fabric and knit from left to right instead of perling from right to left. I like the stockingette stitch much more than the garter stitch....

Thanks. I imagine bundling the wishes up to send to him.... Maybe i'll explain six degrees of separation to him and the two degrees away that have sent him wishes.

Yeah, I actually hacked purling that way once! I now don't mind purling so much, but if you have swaths of stockinette to do and loathe purling...well!

EDIT: Also, I'm very sorry about your sister's troubles (and that I didn't mention that first >.<)
