In the good news department: the heel cups in the vibram five fingers seem to be effective with the achilles tendonitis issue. Perhaps i should bring an ice pack to the office.

I do seem to have a couple of canker sores: this is unexpected. I don't think i've had them in a long while, certainly not a sequential pair. Add this with headaches, and a strange sharp pain in my larynx that has happened three times now while i was speaking (the first time several weeks ago, then a recurrence on Monday, and now today), and the procrastinatory malaise: it seems i'm turning into a "bundlelump" (Christine's pet term for me when i am sick and sore and need petting.)

The larynx thing seems more mechanical - like hurting something while exercising it -- but i wonder if it's a secondary issue from GERD. I suspect i have GERD but i don't have a great deal of discomfort from it. I became curious about it when i discovered GERD could trigger the asthma and allergy reactions, and i do occasionally have reflux to the point where i do notice the literal reflux. Could it be eating away at my throat? I dunno. I have a doctor appointment in early July with my new primary care physician who is back from a long maternity leave.
