(no subject)

We were promised "measurable rainfall" (which i know could be a hundredth of an inch), but it's now just a 30% chance of rain. Ah well, Christine and i replaced the back window of the jeep last evening, the three zippers under tension a bit of a challenge.

A dissatisfaction creeps through me: i spent time yesterday trying to prepare for the changes that Apple is planning with their cloud solution, a solution that i expect would be great if one wanted to be completely locked into Apple's solutions. I don't, so i twisted around in what seems to now become a straight-jacket, after comfort for so long. I'm planning on using Amazon's storage offerings: finding the "right" way to use it is a challenge after being lulled by the "ease of use" of the Mac iDisk.

I also poked at the bike storage solutions i've purchased. When we moved here i biked frequently and used the bike parking. And my bike was stolen. So now we keep the bikes in our unit. Christine's sat inside for months. I'd like them on the deck, and i'd like them where we can use them. There's only so much room. I don't know if my solution is a solution at all.

[I glance over job description. I guess i should apply. *sigh* Initial revulsion at the "BA/BS from a top university" tweak. I don't know ....]

Best to get off for meeting and look for some serenity for the coming week.
