I'm continuing my eBay hunt for a Livescribe Echo. I found a posting that didn't list the pen model in the text, but the photo makes it clear it's an Echo. There's a chance i'll win it at my low price max. Hee hee!

Meanwhile, i am indistinguishable from a Cadfael obsessed slug that crochets. I finished the audio book and have found the differences between book and tv production interesting. I assume the reader is creating a Welsh accent for Cadfael in the audio book: it's so terribly different from Derek Jacobi's accent. I begin to wonder if the herbal clue each episode is actually present in the books. The novel did not have much in the way of such.

Now just to get me exercising while listening instead of lounging about. There's book 11 is also available from the San Mateo County Library Overdrive subscription.

I suppose i'm not just pouty because Christine is away but because the travel-planning work pressure is released, and i'm in a restoration cycle.

I had lunch with my old boss yesterday -- it was a very good visit.
