(no subject)

I've awakened with a horrified awareness of just how behind i am at work -- this is much like the horror that triggered overwhelm and depression last week. I hope to bypass paralysis this time.

I may rush into the office early, just to get started.

Yesterday i declared a little email bankruptcy. I do this fairly often, it seems, arbitrarily taking a bunch of messages i have left in my inbox for reply and just filing them all in my archive. Everything a month old and older is now off my to-reply-to list. I've purged a bunch of "ticklers" from my notebook. While i still feel overwhelmed, it is somewhat relieving to have numbers of lurking things (some quite pleasurable: i like corresponding with those i care about, i enjoy much of my meeting work) down.
