Oh, one sad whine before i go: i've been buying more yarn for my living room hassock cosy project on eBay. It's more time efficient than checking whether the local craft stores have the colors i need. (Dye lots won't matter with this project.)
There were three skeins of "chocolate" on eBay. I'd calculated my "this is the most i should pay" price and bid that, so i could walk away. However there was another three skeins in another auction (same seller). Did bidders go to that one after? No, i managed to get bid up to my maximum of $9 while the other set of three went for less than $3. And, the seller has listed another set of three skeins of "chocolate."
I know i didn't pay more than i was willing to pay and thought was a good deal for me, yet somehow i feel i paid too much. Argh.
