Oh, i had a roof garden in Philadelphia years ago. Squirrels were the bane of my tomatoes. I managed to get one close to "done" by watering with water steeped with red pepper flakes. But one day i didn't get the capsicum coating out after a rain and the next morning i saw the culprit leaping from the roof to the tree with tomato in hand. I cried out "stop thief" before thinking how it would sound on a early Sunday morning.
