Spider webs are beautiful, and spiders keep down the insect population. I just prefer not having them in the house (and Nom & Hedgefund really don't like them in the house). I prefer not accidentally walking into a web, and feel a bit guilty if I destroy one (took them lots of time and energy to create them). But pretty is good.
