This is reassuring. My tomatilloes are predictably trying to take over the world, but the other nightshades have been very slow, and while the squash is getting there, it's been on half speed at best. Mind you, reviving these plots is requiring a lot of work, and I think I'm going to use more fertilizer - while they were never heavily used, and have been fallow for at least a decade, the surrounding trees have been leeching a lot of nutrients.

(I so hope I get to stay here*. I want to put in orchards and tea plantings and have room for Lauren's goats. Mrph - by here I mean generally, not at camp cub creek in particular. And i've got to get you talking to Ursula one of these days - she's big into the Piedmont Prarie and the role of ruminants in the revitalization of overused land.)

* I mean, I could almost certainly get a tech job? I'm... somewhat flexible.
