Anyone know anyone taking vitamin D? I've noticed some unhappy changes as i come off my prescription level (500,000 UI pill once a week) to what it says on the store bottle (1,000 UI pill a day). A good level must be higher than what i am taking, but i'm not sure bottles of vitamins a week is right, either. Maybe go to five a day? (I suppose i ought to make an appointment to see the nutritionist, but i'm still very tired of the health experimentation from last year.)

Another question for the interwebs is a source of long drone-y, chant-y music. I've been waking to a Hindu chanted prayer for a year or so. For my wake up, i'm looking for something that is just beyond being white noise. Any lyrics need to be something my mind won't be trying to understand whether by being in a very foreign language or sung in such an extended manner. The bass voice i've been listening to has been very comforting: i'm not looking for harps and chirpy birds. I suppose i should just find a thirty minute didgeridoo recording.

Bear Meditation at http://www.didgetherapy.com/didgeridoo_meditation_cds.html seems long enough and like it should be just didgeridoo. However, if there are any recommendations beyond what Google served up, i'm listening!

My doc seems to be using a general pattern of
- 2000 IU / day
- 50,000 IU twice a month. (I think it's 50k)

I'm still adjusting; forgot the twice a _month_ pill yesterday. So no idea what changes I'll observe. But this wasn't in response to any particular problem - she just figures most indoor workers need more vitamin D than they are getting.
