It's Day 62 of Work Dysfunction, and i feel it's been this way forever.Mail art puzzle for nephews

I did do this painted doodle this past weekend, with my brother's sons as an audience. I am amused by it.

It hasn't, and i really should get out of my reactive, over-stressed place once i return from Ohio.

I will admit my fear, my memory of last winter, and the depression i slid into. I fear returning from a trip as the days slide to dark, but i have the sun lamp. Perhaps we should shop for new fluorescent tubes for it.

I guess i need http://www.fullspectrumsolutions.com/f20_t12_mb_93_prd1.htm (Are there two or four tubes in the box, i wonder.) Possibly, i should also replace the random fluorescent lightbulb in the lamp i use in the living room with one of these http://www.fullspectrumsolutions.com/compact_fluorescent_32_ctg.htm.

It is a day to think about self goals, isn't it.

In Beltane i had very simple Self goals:
* incorporate more movement into my life: 10 squats/20 min
* sketch out goals for Summer+Lammas?
* To-Dos with MindMap

I should get back to the squats! I forgot about that. The 20 min of activity has been surpassed in some ways: Christine's motivation earlier this summer has translated into a very helpful practice for me. I can now *believe* it helps my mental health, so i have my own motivation now.

The to-do's with the mind map are... not so strong. I've still got some work to do with the Android phone and managing the one place for reminders.

Last night i watched the Korean Western The Good, The Bad, The Weird and quite enjoyed it. It was a notch higher on the visible victims of gun battles than my usual watching, although that may be the intimacy of the gunslinger's violence compared to larger battles. Also, there was a horrific trailer for some horrific "Human Centipede" movie that had been out of my comfort zone on the disk.

Other than the violence, though, which also had the quality of Xena-like campy humor that can entertain me, the ending was more than i expected with a little more depth than the wikipedia plot outline belies. I don't feel "the good" had as much development and motivation as "the bad" and "the weird," but .... There's a scene i should really go revisit now that i've seen the film. The glimpses into Korean contemporary history, the Japanese occupation of Manchuria and Korea, was intriguing.

I wonder if i could find some good translations of traditional Korean poetry. Probably!.
