I prefer to keep them guessing - then use ad block to avoid seeing the ads they try so hard to target.

Google's one of the places I wouldn't mind seeing ads, but Scandinavian newspapers and LJ forced me to install AdBlock.

I'm a bit sad they keep my account sealed off from my search history - I imagine my search history is one of their more puzzling ones (shaped by a heavy Wikipedia editing habit with expert use of Google Books, extremely eclectic interests, and openness to multiple languages). I would love to know what they think I am - maybe a library workstation? But it's undoubtedly for my own good. I'm not sure they realize who I am on YouTube either. Which is definitely good.
