This morning's east coast 9 am phone call began with the sky still fairly dark. I did enjoy some moments of the pink dawn.

I noted the Plaxo change of privacy policy email, and it finally sank into my head that Plaxo is now a Comcast property. I'm not sure how responsible i can hold Comcast for FOX news. I know that basic cable subscription fees pay for FOX news, but from there? Nonetheless i'm not fond of the media megacorp on a gut level, so i made a snap decision to cancel the Plaxo account. I rarely checked out "the pulse," and i easily recall how it's "updated" my address book when folks join plaxo, and then decide to become more private. (Quit deleting my colleague's last name!!)

After i deleted the software and my account, i realized one of the ways it has helped me is by sending email nags reminding me of birthdays. I believe i will happily go back to using my calendar. I might get more organized and reliable than i have been lately if i'm more intentional, rather than Plaxo's easily ignored nags.

Dragonfly

Took a nap at the end of the east coast work day. It was warm, and i let the apartment get pretty warm to my regret. I decided i would ride out to the bay, and i did. I've many photos from the ride at flickr, some attractive like this dragon fly, some more documentary of creek issues. I left the camera stopped down in an attempt to get cloud details, and thus underexposed a number of the images.
