I don't know how we would have gotten Edward to stay so close to home if we hadn't had such a wet winter and now spring. Rain this morning! I woke then dozed to the sound of rain. Edward wanted out, but was back in the deck chair within minutes of egress, and when i opened the door to give him a pet, he came right back in, trotted over to his box and kerploped. He bleated his thanks: i do think he appreciates having somewhere dry and soft. I project, too much, i'm sure, but he seems to bliss out, whereas Miss Greycie Lou believes it is her right to have laps and soft beds.
I just peeled the arch supports for two inch heels off my "whiteboard" and stuck them inside a cellophane envelope. I'd never encountered too much arch support, but after putting those in my flat sandals, i discovered a whole new discomfort. What struck me though, was what an age of miraculous adhesives we live in. The "whiteboard," the post-its, the self seal envelope, the inserts, all stay put and then move when you want them. Miraculous!
Oh my: this 19 June rail trip to Yosemite http://www.ggrm.org/yf.htm?s=hp It's tempting, although i would have to be on a plane the very next day, and i had actually planned to fly that Saturday.
...spent much of the morning with email duty to meeting committees.... I am at capacity, if not over. Bother.
