I'm not sure where time goes these days. It seems like there is less down time during the work day, but I don't feel more effective.

I blurred out during the day. When i usually get my late afternoon second wind, i discovered bugs in the integrated system QA deployment, the same bugs we saw two weeks ago. "Integrated system QA deployment means that the systems we built were supposed to work with the systems other people built and deployed. Every one has been working with their own deployed components, but this is the "first" time everyone is using code configured by the team responsible for it and deployed by the QA folks. Two weeks ago we tried.

Anyhow, the bugs look like they might be blamed on us, but i think that if it's our code (the client library, code incorporated in other team's systems), it's that the code wasn't configured (also known as "Maybe we should have a larger time skew default") and/or the server's clocks are out of sync.

By the time i was done with that, i had lost my second wind.
