(no subject)

One of my daily delights is reading http://upanddowncalifornia.wordpress.com/, the daily entires from the letters and "journals of William H. Brewer, field leader of the Survey, in real time plus 150 years." Today a third photo of mine is going in to illustrate a location, this time Alum Rock. I responded with my usual delight to be included and my puzzlement that Brewer and friends didn't correct the misapprehension that the rock was alum. My response led to there being a footnote in today's entry. I take an absurd amount of delight in that.

Meanwhile, yesterday's rest seems to have produced somewhat easier breathing. Today is an intense day, as i will be scrum master for the team for the next two iterations. Our usual scrum master is on a cruise to Alaska and then will return for a week to depart again, that time for shoulder surgery.
