Over the weekend i noticed how the white oaks on Moffett were changing: a gentle gradient from a ruddy orange at the top to the green. I was pretty sure these were white oaks, and checking wikipedia i verify that, and see how they are an east coast native, immigrant here.

There are plenty of flowers growing in places yet: the bottlebrush still has ruby scrubbers attracting humming birds, oleander hedges still bloom, and heaps of blue flowers bloom near highway interchanges. Their ID is on my list to sort out.

I've pushed through one of my inboxes this morning, the one in which i dumped a buch of already disposed digital notes last week. It's empty, huzzah. My email inbox is still to do, condolences last week -- much appreciated -- were responded to, but the discussions from before Premy's death still need acknowledgement. I actually appreciated the feedback on the plot element post and wish to respond. Oy, time.

I signed up for a number of online classes in my usual optimism and enthusiasm. I'm going to see if i can listen to the lectures on my phone as i commute. And exercise! I will exercise! Maybe.

I'm still adapting to Christine's absence in the evening... Design & planning week begins in an hour and a half, and we don't know which possible Q3 we are planning for!
