distraction

At SFO.

Yesterday was a 14 hour day, which followed two 11 hour days. Still have tasks I was supposed to have done weeks ago, time cards for December.... that are weeks over due.

I was called at 3am for an issue. Turns out the folks with the problem has configured their computers to override DNS and route to the test network. Probably did it weeks ago, but now the test system is down.

Took a hour and a half to sort out user error.

I think i'd probably fallen asleep at 11.

Christine is, as happens, experiencing distress on my behalf.

We took advantage of the early wake-up to chat and comfort each other.

Hoping I can rest and relax for the rest of the week.
