Odd weather

I was worried my temperature gauge was broken: the temperature for outside was flat at around 64°F from 7 to 7 yesterday. Then the front arrived, the air pressure began increasing and the temperature fell to hit freezing just after sun rise. The same story is told by the sensors at the airport, so i guess it's accurate.
