Today started with work at 6 am. Tomorrow i'll need to be ready to start a video conference at 6, so i'll be at work around 5:45. It is delightful that "at work" means the home office, but there's something odd, as well, about all the video and phone conferences going on all day.

We ran errands as a transition for me. Plastic boxes: one for all the camping kitchen gear, one for 4x cards for a project Christine and i are going to collaborate on. As we finished the groceries, i did the math and realized that if one considered when i started working as 9 am, it would be 8:30 pm.

I've been home puttering a bit, rebelling against the sense that it will be 6 am tomorrow and i will be ON again.

I really miss having morning reflection time.

We're car shopping again. This is a replacement for Christine's motorcycle, with the idea that this will be something that could handle the dotted line roads that tempt me so. We've talked about old Jeeps, Jeep Patriots, and now Subaru Foresters. We're still negotiating around what we will be comfortable spending on a used vehicle (we won't be buying new).

Although I am very fond of my Forrester Subaru I am not sure I consider it a dotted line road: not enough clearance. The AWD comes in handy with the (mainly) light snows we get here in Colorado Springs. It is also useful for carrying dogs and fifty pound bags of feed.
