I awoke in the wee hours of the morning chilled to the bone and with intense body aches, and my chest reactive with spasms of coughing. Three hours later, and with the conclusion that the Audible recording of Simon Schama's History of Britain is NOT a soporific, i was able to doze off until roofing started.

Today is tar paper, i think.

This morning i've perused the medical foundation' website and found all my discomforts are side effects of Nitrofurantoin that indicate stopping the antibiotic.

I am so thankful that company policy allows taking this as a sick day instead of a vacation day when sick, thankful i can email my boss, my doctor. I feel pretty miserable, and it's nice not to have those worries.

I suspect at some point i will try to rest, and will depend on Charlton Griffin reading Cyril Robinson's A history of Greece to take me to a doze.
