I think i might actually be learning to trust myself to really rest. That's what i did yesterday. Two episodes of Masada, two episodes of House (and the meals plus loom-knitting while watching), a walk with Christine, a long phone call with my parents. I tweaked some of my photos in Lightroom and read a forgettable Kindle reprint of an out-of-copyright science fiction pulp novel.
This morning's wakeup call was at 4:30 regarding the install and a problem. The root cause was that which i pointed at in my memo on Friday. Greycie Loo liked the laptime, and as i wrapped things up she sat in my lap, purring. And then the alarm for gently waking me up began, and i began the ritual of tea.
I've actually played a video game this morning: the demo for World of Goo. It's a bit like Marshmallow -Spagetti in that one is constructing structures towards a goal in a 2D physics space. It goes on my list of "games i am tempted to buy" with Osmosis, but i'm beginning to appreciate that i really want games on my EVO not on my laptop. Honestly, Fly Guy continues to divert me in a satisfactory manner.
