Saturday's desire to eat a good diet did not succeed. One little slip and the cravings and rationalizations take over. July will need strict eating practices. No wheat. No refined sweets.
[Sunday morning]
I just popped off an email to my new-ish primary care provider. I saw her once -- early in 2011 perhaps? -- to get a prescription for an antidepressant. I tried to line up an appointment last fall, and found she was out on maternity leave. I have a little irritation with a system that says a doctor is taking "new patients" when that doctor is going to be absent for half a year. I figured she should be well prepared for me on Tuesday when i see her: providing her with my checklist is only fair.
I'm a little afraid to check work email. I received a call at 12:14 am overnight, when i was quite sound asleep, about an install issue. I remember struggling to pull my mind to wakefulness. I'm not sure if i quite managed to get the right answers out.

In happy news, Maxemail, the company we used for 10 years for a fax and voicemail service, refunded our annual fee as we canceled at the last moment. Sonic offers both features, and we don't use them as much as we used to. We've been delighted with Maxemail, and i'm happy we have a friend we referred to take our place on their customer list.
