Bad sex?

I clicked through to the BBC article Bad Sex in Fiction: Manil Suri scoops 2013 award to find that it real means "overblown metaphors for sex in fiction." Theoretically the award is for "crude, badly written or perfunctory use of sexual description."

I suppose it was too much to think we can have an award to call attention to promulgation of rape culture....
