I hope you, Christine and your cats settle in soon. A complete mattress set for the bed will probably help for you two, and cats..I hope they get used to the radical changes sooner rather than later.
Congratulations to you for all that mowing! I'd be happy with a mostly-white-clover lawn myself (ours is a lovely combination of varied grasses, violets, little weeds with tiny blue flowers, dandelions, and more. Definitely the "tapestry lawn" championed by some organic yard proponents. I'm blissful about the violets as they're one of my favorite flowers.
