I've been eating greens for months -- i like greens, so this is a happy thing. I still have some winter squash to eat - i've been sort of stretching them until the summer squash flood begins. And i ate the last of the dried tomatoes a week or so ago. Now is the lull as the root veggies aren't particularly thriving, the lettuce was more than decimated - third-imated? - by rabbits, and the greens are succumbing to cabbage worm.
Potatoes keep their promise hidden but seem to be thriving, tomatoes show fruit set, and three cayenne peppers hang like green scythes harvesting the sun's heat.
