Reading all your landscape/gardening work is like an alien culture journal to me, but interesting.
Many of the restaurants here are LOUD like that on purpose and it drives me crazy. They like a loud room because it seems buzzing and exciting and popular so they design it that way on purpose. It makes me avoid them except during lunchtime during the school year when I can avoid large crowds and screaming kids so the noise is not too bad. Bars can be loud; restaurants should be quiet. /rant :)
