The delight evinced by a working group leader when i join the call. Note to self: do this when you are the working group leader.

Apparently in the white mock turtleneck top and the over the ear headset, i have a striking resemblance to "Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope"'s Princess Leia on video conference screens.

Edward ate a bird. Possibly a blue bird. At least he eats all of what he hunts.

When i read that climate change discussions have been politicized and about how well the topics are accepted when spun, i want to spit. I'm mad that the problem was spun originally into culture war issues.

I'm also having a rough time with current news. The past 2 years has been so personal; the abusers, including my own, are winning over and over again.

I hope you came through this past storm OK. I know the power outages have been wide spread. When i get back from this conference, maybe i could come deliver the ferns -- or you could come get them and see how different things are since the goats. It be good to see you and visit.

Yeah. I think that climate change is enculturewarenated because (1) myopia is thought of as a form of brilliance, (2) there's a desire to serve the short-run wants of corporations, the bigger the corporation the bigger the desire, and (3) scientists are scary and generally non-creationist.
