I haven't quite sussed out the cause of my hard of listening. I had my hearing tested a long time ago, and i can hear wonderfully when it's a tiny sound with no background. They can't test distinguishing sounds with lot of background sound. I certainly have a slowness of parsing if there are distracting sounds.
