The problem is that it's not one mind with the whole vision, but many many different people being directed by many others, with some other team shouting about timings and releases and finances. Too many cooks and so on.
I suppose part of my current work procrastination and paralysis is the fear of designing a mess. It looks like a mess, and it's hard to see all the parts to get tidy.
