I am naturally a calm person and don't hit the panic button readily, especially in a situation where incoming continues relevant. For instance, I am now sitting at Animal Farm, our Arvada house, where a projected deck refinishing (by a company, not by us) was forestalled by mysterious ultra-low water pressure. I now await a visit from the water and sewer company, but it seems likely that it's due to a dying in-house pressure regulation valve, which will entail calling the plumbers.

Sheeyun got home from Virginia last night and hopes to do laundry here after leaving work early. On Wednesday a delivery person from Lowe's phoned and said that he would drop off the pedestals bought in May for the washer and dryer, bought in May, but could not install, which we paid for. I told him Great! but that I couldn't be there-- I had a rendezvous-vous with HVAC folks in Arvada. He said that the pedestals could be delivered yesterday, and perhaps installed (along with the stove we bought in May). We are still in limbo about this. A different delivery truck driver responded to the message I left, and said he would get in touch with the delivery coordinator. I will need to phone them today, after finding out what I have to do about plumbing.
