This morning's tea carries the peppery notes of yesterday's lemongrass alongside the keemun.
We've had a few rain showers since Sunday. Indeed, while in the meeting house Sunday morning the rain came down in a brief torrent, thundering on the roof. There's something about the summer rains in the southeast i almost miss, but it also goes with the deep green of the summer canopy, a glow that has a touch of stored sunshine to it.
Yesterday was simply weird with the early call and the development of sinus pressure headache in the early afternoon. I ended up reading years of http://www.girlgeniusonline.com/ -- i found yesterday's reference to Von Pinn to stretch my memory a little bit. I reread so much of it, i became awed by how cohesive and coherent the story line is. These web comics with epic story lines are really quite amazing. I suppose the books have been like this, but the experience of daily rationing is, for me, part of the experience. I too often gobble stories (like i did with many years of Girl Genius yesterday), and having them rationed out over time creates a different sort of reward.

By the way, whatever happened to it on Sunday, I am sooooo glad to have this back. Low on the scale of worldwide importance I know, but I wanted to get the Gullgubber article submitted to DYK by the deadline and I had to use a libris and all sorts of stuff to track down bibliographic info on this and another book.
