I continue to slowly peck away at "backlog" -- but backlog just seems to be current needs and actions. The analysis of what supplements to take seems remarkably complicated. I suppose there might be software out there that helps you manage interactions -- then again, maybe not, because of liability issues!

I'm happy that the supplements and antihistamine i need to take do not have any obvious conflicts, and i can continue with my habitual time and just add the iron.

I'm going to give only a cursory review of my time commitments (the 0.time tag). I don't currently have a plan to take a four day weekend in early November, following the pattern of the past months. I don't want to plan for that. Indeed, i now have a goal to get 20 days of vacation in reserve: essentially the month's salary one should save for emergency.

121.03 h (~15d) as of 31 Oct, vacation available (accounting for vacation taken through 7 Oct). At the end of the year, if i don't take any vacation, i'll have 18.46 days. I must take one personal day plus the usual Dec bonus day. Christmas Eve is on Friday, so that will be a three day weekend, and i believe I'll have New Year's Eve off as well.

There's Thanksgiving at the end of the month. I continue to watch plane fares for the end of Christine's scheduled travel to NC. The plane fare would have to drop to a remarkably low level for me to feel motivated to fly.

I think i should have the dining room back for the week before Thanksgiving so i think i can decorate the space for the harvest festival and then switch to the solstice festival.

Perhaps the labyrinth journalling meditation for Advent?

For December, Christine and i just discussed, and we agreed we'd do our traditional trip to the SF Flower mart to buy a huge wreath of fresh greenery for our decor. We'll prepare a meal at the holidays for the folks staying at the Meeting House. I'll volunteer again to take a morning shift on Christmas Day at the Meeting House as well.

That went on MUCH longer than i expected!
