Mostly good day. Something began triggering a blue episode as we got groceries in the late afternoon. Despite a pleasant game four (and Giants win), despite a reasonably pleasant dinner, i am feeling both wired and blue.
During Meeting, the image of myself as a traditional New Mexican adobe oven, a horno, came to mid -- an oven with damp wood and cold adobe brick. I've lost the inspiration flame i'd had some time back.
This All Hallows i wanted to celebrate the end of a year i'm happy is over. From Dec 2009 to now has been a bit of a depressing struggle. I'd just barely pulled myself out of last winter's depression when the work-crazy started.
I'm turning into a pumpkin now. I'm sure someday i'll want to not be such a hermit, but tonight i'm happy no one invites me out and no kids come to knock at our door.
