We hunkered down last night as the "arctic air mass" came through and actually turned on the heat. It only got to 37 °F at Moffett, though, so i can hope we won't drop below freezing as predicted for tonight. It's clear, though, with no rain predicted until Saturday.
I look forward to a sunlit office today, as i work at home. Christine goes off to the community college for one of her jobs for much of the day. Usually, i have lots of phone calls on Wednesday. Today, i think i just have one long Skype conversation with the other person not taking the day off.
I have a monthly report to pull together, a quarterly report, and some preparation for fiscal year planning. I think i'll be able to keep busy all day: i might go for a midday walk in the light. I'm pondering going to Midweek Worship tonight, and pondering a dash over to a store in Palo Alto to look at the Xootr. On the other hand, i really wonder how wise it is consider buying the Xootr for the commute, given that i have a bike and we have a big expense looming in 2011.
We haven't made holiday plans, as is our practice when it's just us, but i'll do some cooking tomorrow. We'll probably spread out feast food over the whole weekend and not make it all for one meal. We do have an invitation to join a friend's after Thanksgiving leftover party.
I've got a to-do list beginning for the days off. I think it's balanced so far.
